Book Groups

Are you a book lover? Come join us for one of our book clubs! You’ll enjoy a lively discussion about the chosen book each month with your fellow bibliophiles.

We make multiple copies of the book club books available approximately 1 month prior to the scheduled meeting. Therefore if you come to a book club meeting, you'll be able to leave with next month's book in tow!

New readers always welcome!

Writer's Groups

Writer's Workshop

Meets first Monday of the month at 1pm.

Love to write?  Need some friendly support and feedback?  Join area writers for a collaborative workshop for inspiration, gentle critiques and guidance on how to get started.  Writing is a good vehicle to express one's thoughts and ideas.  With that said, the Roxbury Library invites community residents to be part of the newly formed Roxbury Writers' Workshop.  Inspiration, guidance, support and gentle critiques will be offered at the monthly meetings.  Experience is not necessary, only the desire to put pen to paper and write.  Tools required: pen and paper, tablet or laptop -- whatever helps the writing process.  All are welcome -- what is shared at the Workshop, stays in the Workshop.

Keep up with the good stuff. NextReads is a great way to keep abreast on what's new and interesting!
